Couple Quick Notes:
- Video must be less than 7 min long (the shorter the better)
- We have the right to take video footage off - if inappropriate
- Uploads should be labeled (Strikers: then players last name. Example: Strikers-Smith1)
Strikers 12U Select team Wins 2008 Tornado Open!
The Sheboygan Strikers sent a select 12U team to Beaver Dam to compete in the 2008 Tornado open and emerged with the title. The Strikers ran the table to win the championship, going 2-0 in pool play with victories over Beaver Dam and Stoughton. They also went undefeated in the double elimination portion of the tournament with wins over Waunakee and Beaver Dam to get to the championship game in a re-match against Waunakee. After falling behind 2-0, they clawed their way back, and held on to a late lead to come out victorious 8-6 in 7 innings.
The championship marks the first title for the program’s short history. |
